Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Once shipped, delivery to mainland Portugal takes between 2 and 5 business days.

Shipping is free for orders above €50. Below that amount, a €4.99 fee applies.

You'll receive an email with the tracking code as soon as your order ships.

Right of withdrawal (returns)

Under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014, you have the right to return any item within 14 calendar days of receipt, without needing to state a reason, provided that:

  • Items are in their original condition, unused;
  • Tags are intact;
  • The original packaging is included, whenever possible.

To start a return, contact us at geral@malmequer.pt or through our contact page, stating your order number and the items to be returned.

Return costs

Withdrawal without a reason: return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Defective or non-conforming product: if the item has a manufacturing defect or doesn't match what was ordered, return costs are fully covered by Malmequer. In these cases, you're also entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a full refund, as provided by law.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, the refund will be processed within 5 to 10 business days, to the original payment method.

Under the law, the refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days after receiving the returned item or proof of its return shipment from the customer, whichever comes first.

Items not eligible for return

Personalized or made-to-measure items are not eligible for return under the right of withdrawal, except in case of a defect.

Legal warranty

All products are covered by the 3-year legal conformity warranty (Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021), applicable to goods purchased from January 1, 2022 onward. To make a warranty claim, contact us with proof of purchase.
